A&M Therapy, created in the fall of 2006 is local and therapist owned providing the best rehabilitation services in Central Brevard.

The office has served various patient populations including acute patients post surgery, those entering the twilight of their lives requiring balance training, as well as athletes from the professional, college, and high school ranks. “Our vision is to provide quality, individualized therapy and quick return to function for all our patients.

A&M Therapy’s Mission:

Provide you a quality physical therapist and occupational therapist assessment of your neuro-musculoskeletal impairments;

Focus physical and occupational therapist care using effective conservative measures to reduce your pain and dysfunction;

Help restore you to better function after your sports injury and other orthopedic and biomechanical injuries from motor vehicle accidents or work related accidents;

Improve your ability to deal with stress using proven conservative coping strategies.

Amado Mendoza is a licensed physical therapist practicing in Brevard County since 1993. Amado graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor’s of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy in 1992. Amado has completed Level I of Canada’s Sports Physical Therapy, Dr. Paul Lam’s Tai Chi for Arthritis and Back Pain, and in 2006 he became a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist through the Back School of Atlanta. Amado is currently completing coursework for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Utica College.

  Robin Waters is a licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant and registered through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensed to work in the state of Florida; Robin has a diverse clinical background. She currently holds positions working with premature infants at NICU level care, acute trauma patients in a hospital setting as well as Long Term care and Outpatient rehabilitation. Robin and her husband live in Rockledge with their four children.

Brandon Davey is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida. Brandon has a great deal of interest in orthopedic rehabilitation and loves to see his patients achieve their goals as quickly as possible, so they can get back to what they love to do. Brandon has a great sports background and prides himself in relating to all of his patients regardless of ability level.

Lauren Lynch is a licensed occupational therapist with over 12 years of diverse clinical experience working with adults and children with a wide range of orthopedic and neurological impairments in a variety of health care settings. Lauren holds a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from Louisiana State University. She is registered through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, and she is licensed to practice occupational therapy in the state of Florida. Lauren in a Louisiana native, and has lived with her husband and three children on Merritt Island for 2 years. 

 

Here at A&M Therapy, our occupational therapy staff specializes in fall prevention through improving balance and assessing the home environment for safety, rehabilitation of the upper extremity, and improving a person's independence in the daily activities that add meaning and purpose their lives. 

  Travis Boersma is a Physical Therapist who graduated from the University of Florida in 2007 and from the University of Central Florida PT School in 2011. Travis has been working in Merritt Island in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Outpatient Rehabilitation since 2011. Travis has been working with a wide array of patients from infants to geriatrics. Travis is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, an American Physical Therapy Association Credentialed Clinical Instructor and has been teaching PT and PTA students since 2012.Travis lives in Merritt Island with his wife and two year old son.

 

Monica James is a Florida licensed Physical Therapist with 15 years of experience as a practicing clinician in outpatient rehabilitation clinics. Monica has also practiced physical therapy in the skilled nursing facility setting. She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Her love of movement and helping others to restore movement for function remains her passion. She resides in Rockledge.
